This Anker USB-C cable charges two devices from one port (now $16)

Ever been caught out, needing to charge two phones (or any two USB devices, really) but only had a single USB port available? That could be a problem you never run into again with Anker’s 140W USB-C splitter cable, now on sale for $16 at Amazon, matching its lowest ever price.

This nifty cable has a single USB-C connection on one end (plug this into an adapter or power bank), then splits into two USB-C connections on the other end (one for each device to be charged). When charging only one device, it can provide up to 140W, assuming you’re plugged into a source that can give that much power. Otherwise, when both are used, it smartly distributes power depending on each device’s need.

That 140W throughput is more than fast enough for most laptops, let alone phones, tablets, and accessories like wireless earbuds. If you don’t have a 140W-capable charger, no worries—it will max out at whatever the source can provide. And this is a 6-foot cable, with 5 feet of clearance on the single end and 1 foot each for the split end. That means both charging devices will need to be sort of close together.

Now at $16, this splitter cable is a great value. Even if you don’t use both ends all the end, it serves as an excellent single-device charger with its fast-charging capability. But whenever you do need that second end, you’ll be glad to have it.
