Peacock‘s summer of love isn’t over yet.

Love Island USA continues to make a splash on the streamer, tallying 19 billion minutes viewed just since the Season 8 premiere on June 2, per internal data from NBCUniversal. The eighth season of the U.S. format is now Peacock’s most-watched original TV season ever, further cementing its crown at the streamer after one-upping the record set by Season 7 last year.

The title has once again stolen hearts on streaming this summer with Nielsen ranking it as the top reality title on streaming for six consecutive weeks as of mid-July. This trend likely continued, even beyond the Season 8 finale on July 12, though that data is not available yet.

New Aftersun hosts Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa seem to have drawn more attention to the Saturday recap episodes, more than doubling last year’s audience.

NBCU has also made a point to include mobile audience data for Love Island USA, since Nielsen primarily captures viewership on television screens. First party data shows that Season 8 saw nearly 30% of engagement coming from phones and tablets — one of Peacock’s biggest mobile audiences ever for an entertainment series, the company says.

The series is also not resting on its laurels, it seems. About 35% of the audience for Love Island USA Season 8 was new to the series, NBC adds.

Since the show is big with the young crowd, it is not surprisingly that it also generates plenty of chatter online. Season 8 has been responsible for over 5 billion video views across the company’s owned social channels as of mid-July and ranks as the top series on social since launch.

On TikTok alone, the season boasted more than 2.5 billion video views, marking a 47% increase over Season 7.

It’s clear that audiences love to chatter about Love Island USA both online and in person, since Peacock also claims that nearly half of the Season 8 audience was co-viewing with at least one other person.

The Love Island USA Season 8 reunion special will premiere on August 31 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, bringing back this season’s winners, fan-favorite couples, and this year’s bombshells for an up close and personal look back at their experience in the Villa.

The series is produced by ITV America, in association with Lifted Entertainment and Motion Entertainment, a WPP Media Company and distributed by ITV Studios. David George, Adam Sher, Jordana Hochman, Bernie Schaeffer, Ben Thursby-Palmer, James Barker, Blake Garrett, Courtney Rosenthal, Sophie Brown, Jessica Castro, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Tom Gould, Chet Fenster and Martin Oxley executive produce the series.
