Cardi B loves herself a new pair of jeans, and the Bronx bombshell is the face of Old Navy’s fall denim campaign.
Cardi stars in the Western-themed commercial alongside Wisdom Kaye and Quen Blackwell, which arrived on Tuesday (Aug. 4).
The clip finds the Grammy-winning rapper cruising on set in a green drop-top convertible. Then Cardi hops into the director’s chair and starts barking out orders at the rest of the cast and crew.
“When you have a BBL it’s hard to find jeans… but Old Navy got everything for everybody,” she captioned a post to X promoting the ad spot.
Cardi admitted in an interview with People that even with all of the fame, riches and designer clothes in her wardrobe, she’s still shopping at Old Navy these days. “What is my life without jeans? I still shop at Old Navy. I think it’s very long-lasting,” she said.
The 33-year-old also revealed that she was insecure about the fit of her jeans growing up to the point that she would stuff her jeans to make her figure look curvier.
“I would put like two, three tights under my jeans so my butt and my thighs could be thicker. Being from the hood or, you know, my culture, being thick is better,” she added. “I always was scared for my butt to look extra flat in jeans.”
The dark denim jeans Cardi is modeling boast a high waist and wide-legged cuffs, which are currently on sale and come in seven different colorways on the company’s website. This fall’s It’s Old Navy campaign builds off the same series that was launched in the summer featuring Paris Hilton.
On the music side, Cardi released her first single of 2026 on Friday (July 31) with “Ah Ha.” She also picked up another plaque after the RIAA certified the Billboard Hot 100-topping “WAP” as diamond; it’s her fourth diamond song.
