    After years of inactivity, only Taylor Swift could coax iTunes’ social media presences back from the grave.

    After six years of silence, the iTunes social media accounts are suddenly active again. Their comeback coincides with Taylor Swift’s twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” arriving October 3.

    On September 10, both the iTunes X page and Facebook page posted links to pre-order Taylor’s upcoming album. Clicking the link opens the Apple Music page for the album, which includes an Apple-exclusive behind-the-scenes video titled “A Look Behind the Curtain”
