It’s the weekend and everybody loves to bet a little to win a lot.
Every Friday I’ll pick my five favorite bets and try to turn a little coffee money into a nice juicy ribeye. Let’s take a look at the parlay for this week, which comes out to +1198 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Oklahoma Total: Under 14.5(-120)
Oklahoma has an upper echelon defense that may be able to keep this game against Georgia somewhat competitive, but can Oklahoma cook up anything on offense? Their trip to Michigan two weeks ago generated just 10 points and under 300 yards of offense. I think they struggle to crack double digits here on the road in a hostile environment.
Iowa Total: Under 17.5(-160)
Iowa visits Michigan this week in what should be a low-scoring, field position type of game. If Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood can avoid turnovers, Iowa will have a hard time generating big plays against a stout Wolverine defense that has won games 17-10 and 13-12 already this season. Expect a similar rock-fight here.
USC To Win 1st Quarter(-125)
USC head coach Lincoln Riley does something unconventional. When USC wins the coin toss, USC often chooses to take the ball first, while most coaches defer. It’s likely here that USC starts with the ball, and that is very valuable when betting on only the first quarter.
Virginia Tech @ Boston College
1st Quarter: Under 10.5(-185)
You have to use an alternate line on this one, but with a five-leg parlay, the payout will still be really juicy if we can get it in the win column. Heavy wind and rain are expected in the northeast this weekend, and I think both teams will be conservative on offense in the early portion of this game.
Ravens Moneyline vs. Cowboys(-175)
The Ravens travel to Brazil to take on the Cowboys this Sunday. For all of the talk prior to the season around how the Cowboys would be improved defensively, we have yet to see the results to prove it. Dallas has given up nearly 400 yards of offense and almost six yards per play in each of its first two games. I like the Ravens to win a shootout.
