It’s no secret where Bem Moura got the acting bug from.

After all, Wagner Moura shared insight into how his 20-year-old son is embarking on his own career onscreen—and behind the camera.

“My oldest, he studies cinema,” Moura exclusively told E! News in a joint interview with The Last House costar Greta Lee. “He wants to direct and write. He is actually doing a film as an actor right now in Brazil.”

“This is a director that was like, ‘I think Bem could do this,'” the Oscar nominee continued. And although Bem wasn’t sure if he’d get the part, he still took the leap. “He’s working as an actor. He auditioned for it, got the role and he’s doing this film.”

Although the Secret Agent star—also dad to kids Salvador, 16, and José, 13, with wife Sandra Delgado—didn’t further tease Bem’s forthcoming debut, he did emphasize that he’ll always cheer on his sons in any career path.
