Underscores has shared a music video for “The Peace,” an album cut off her new LP, U. The Ayodeji-directed clip takes place on a dramatically lit soundstage, where April Harper Grey is swarmed by a thrashing crowd. Fittingly for the cigarette-centric breakup song, the set gradually begins to fill with smoke as the video progresses. Watch it below.
Grey will support Charli XCX on her North American Music, Fashion, Film Tour throughout September and most of October. Days after their last date together, she’ll head over to Europe for her own run of headlining shows.
