Even though it was recently retired, the LEGO Icons Transformers Bumblebee set is still in stock at Amazon. It isn’t on sale, so you’ll still see at its sticker price of $89.99, but it’s not every day you see a retired set in stock at big retailers without some sort of mark up. If you’re interested in picking up this set at MSRP, this is likely your last chance to do so.

LEGO and Transformers go together like peanut butter and jelly, and this Bumblebee build is the perfect example. It functions as a brick-built set you’d expect from LEGO, but the transforming mechanics you’d see on a traditional Transformers toy is here as well. The 950-piece set is super detailed and intricate, and stands at over 9.5in. tall while in Autobot form, so displaying it on a shelf shouldn’t be too difficult. When transformed into vehicle mode, done so by folding in Bumblebee’s limbs in the right way, it’s just over 3in. high, making a very compact build for this level of detail. The set also comes with an information plaque that tells us Bumblebees function and stats.

If you’re looking for even more LEGO Transformers build, the Decepticon Soundwave set is on sale at Amazon for $163.99, $25 off of the sticker price. Compared to Bumblebee’s 950 pieces, Soundwave is made up of 1,505 bricks and is much larger and comes with brick-built Ravage and Laserbeak figures. It also has voice and sound effects, marking one of the first times LEGO has included these mechanics before the SMART Play bricks came out.
