Seriesly Berlin has set a program of 13 series premieres, with shows from Paramount+ and Disney+ in the line-up.
The Seriesly Berlin Premieres will run from September 14-17, running alongside the Seriesly Berlin Conference (September 15-16).
Among the series are Jossi, a German dramedy for Paramount+ from Dimitrij Schaad (Kleo) and starring the likes of Jannik Schümann (Sisi), Nilam Farooq (Call My Agent Berlin) and Thomas Loibl (Conclave). The series tells the story of Jossi, a floundering actor who lies his way into a casting call reserved for Jewish performers.
City of Blood is a Disney+ Germany/ Hulu original set in a climate-ravaged Berlin on the brink of collapse. Philipp Kadelbach and Elena Lyubarskaya are the creators, with Lena Drinda (Sound of Falling), Franz Hartwig (Dark), Lars Eidinger (Babylon Berlin) and David Schütter (Barbarians) are among the stars.
The shows follows sisters Bea and Phoebe, who uncover the truth behind the city’s hidden power structures, and find themselves at the center of a life-threatening conflict.
Other premieres include Clangold, a doc from Jan Zabeil about a spectacular German robbery; Burden of Justice from Sweden, which is a series from Snabba Cash writer Jens Lapidus about lawyers at a Stockholm firm; Atlantis Pasila, a drama-comedy set around a small bar in a brutalist district of Helsinki; Sky Switzerland doc Beach Sisters; and another from the same country, crime drama The Angel Maker.
From the UK is Aimee Lou Wood’s Film Club, which we recently reported was not returning for a second season on the BBC, and Sky drama Under Salt Marsh, while Brazil will offer Ayô, a Lucas Oranmian seres about a young Black gay artist navigating love and his career in São Paolo. David Semler’s coming-of-age drama Filter explores the teenage love of two teenage boys in Czechia.
Argentina’s So Far So Good from prolific filmmaker Daniel Burman and Canadian body-positive comedy Shipwrekced, from Gabrielle Lisa Collard and Manal Drissi, round out the line-up.
Stars in attendance at Seriesly will include Jossi‘s Nilam Farooq, Rezo Tschchikwischwili, Marina Weis, Thomas Loibl, Uwe Preuss and Garry Fishmann as well as creator Dimitrij Schaad, head-writer Jonas Zimmermann, writer Leo Khassin and producer Philip Voges.
The Beach Sisters screening will see beach volleyball sisters Anouk and Zoé Vergé-Dépré join director and creator Wero Rodowicz on stage, while Atlantsi Pasila director Ulla Heikkilä, Filter creator and director David Semler and Under Salt Marsh creator, writer and director Claire Oakley will also attend.

One of Finland’s most exciting young voices, Aikuiset creator Anna Brotkin brings ATLANTIS PASILA to Seriesly Berlin following its selection for the Short Forms Competition at Series Mania 2026. The show follows the employees and customers of the bar Atlantis, hidden in the concrete-gray neighborhood of Helsinki’s Itä-Pasila. Kauri, Nita, Riku, Iiris, and Anni try to navigate life while struggling to deal with their feelings. The first season focuses on Kauri, a lifestyle nomad who is leaving Finland once again, but on the night of his departure his van breaks down. While stuck in Helsinki, he falls in love with mysterious Leo, who disappears and reappears when least expected. Blending dry Finnish humour with melancholy and unexpected warmth, ATLANTIS PASILA turns its distinctly local setting into an intimate portrait of a generation searching for connection.
