Rod Stewart has announced that he will be canceling the next four weeks of performances as part of his “One Last Time” farewell tour and “The Encore Shows” Las Vegas residency after undergoing a routine coronary stent procedure.

The news comes just days after the singer postponed a show scheduled for Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center at the last minute, citing a “minor medical procedure.” Now, a rep for Stewart said that he underwent the procedure and that doctors are “pleased with his recovery.” The rep notes that he has returned to normal daily activities, but that he will need to recover before continuing to perform live.

“I’m already feeling better and very much on the mend,” said Stewart in a statement. “I want to thank the doctors, nurses and everyone who has taken such wonderful care of me. I’m deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down, but I look forward to getting back on stage and having a good time with you all again soon.”

In early June, Stewart canceled two performances in Las Vegas before showtime based on his doctor’s advice. Later that month, he canceled another show in San Diego just before he was set to take the stage, and at a subsequent concert in Utah, he paused mid-show to use an oxygen tank backstage.

Stewart has been on his “One Last Time” tour with Richard Marx since 2024. He had plans to perform tonight at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena, which announced the show cancelation yesterday, and this Saturday at Kansas City’s Morton Amphitheater. He was also scheduled to return to Vegas on August 18 for a string of shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace through the end of the month before heading back on the road for dates in Minnesota, Illinois and Mexico.

Information regarding the affected performances will be shared by the venues and promoters involved with Stewart’s shows.
