Robosen Robotics has announced the release of its Disney MINI Robots collection, bringing iconic Toy Story and WALL-E characters into the realm of programmable, interactive robotics for consumers in Australia and New Zealand.

The newly launched collection features a number of sets and standalone figurines, with options including the Toy Story 30th Anniversary Collector’s Set, the WALL-E Collector’s Set, and individual character models such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Lotso, and Alien. These are priced from AUD $199/NZD $249 for individual MINI Robots to AUD $499/NZD $549 for the six-character Toy Story anniversary set. The WALL-E Collector’s Set, which includes both WALL-E and Eve, is available for AUD/NZD $299.
The products utilise high-precision engineering to create lifelike movements, expressive gestures and character voices. The collection marks Robosen’s debut of a smart toy platform that enables storytelling, play, and programmable interaction.

Programmemability and interactivity
Each MINI Robot is designed with a modular smart toy platform resembling a cartridge-based game console. The system integrates servo motors, circuit boards, connectivity features, speakers and software into a central base. Standardised interfaces with encryption chips ensure secure connection, and advanced software capabilities are enabled for all compatible characters.
The platform includes two modes for users. Playback Mode allows built-in audio and programmed actions to be activated with the press of a button. Programmeming Mode connects the robot to a computer, where users can customise movements, download new content and access programming tools via the Robosen Studio software. The company states this system is intended to encourage creativity and the evolution of the toys as interactive companions.

Availability
The collection is now available for pre-order at several retailers, including JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, The Gamesmen, and Sugo Toys. The full lineup is expected to be available to the public in November 2025, in the lead-up to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas trading periods.
