[SINGAPORE] Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker Nio delivered 34,749 vehicles in September, its delivery update released on Wednesday (Oct 1) indicated.

This marked a new monthly record and a 64.1 per cent increase from the year-ago period, said the mainboard-listed carmaker, which has a secondary listing in Singapore. The company’s cumulative deliveries stood at 872,785 as at end-September, it added.

Majority of the September deliveries came from its family-oriented smart electric vehicle brand Onvo, which recorded 15,246 deliveries. The company’s premium smart electric brand Nio logged 13,728 deliveries and its small, high-end electric car brand Firefly notched 5,775.

For Q3 2025, its vehicle deliveries rose 40.8 per cent on the year to 87,071 vehicles.

On Sep 20, Nio officially launched its flagship premium sport utility vehicle (SUV), the All-New ES8 – the largest battery electric SUV in China.

The company’s shares surged 12 per cent after it unveiled the model in late August and opened pre-orders.
