Madonna and Kylie Minogue team up for ‘Love Sensation (Afterhours remix)’

Madonna and Kylie Minogue have teamed up for their ‘Love Sensation (Afterhours remix)’ – check it out below.

Madge previously played coy when asked about a potential collaboration with Minogue – and the Australian popstar also denied rumours that she was on the album.

Now, the pair have dropped their collaboration on the ‘Afterhours Mix’ of ‘Love Sensation’, the second single off ‘Confessions II’.

It comes after the two pop legends teamed up for a surprise performance of their remix at Amsterdam WorldPride on August 1.

Take a listen to ‘Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix)’ below:

NME gave ‘Confessions II’ a four-star review, praising the record for the richness of its music. “By drawing from her past, both personally and musically, Madonna has made her most vital album in over two decades,” we wrote. “This grande dame still knows how to make us move.”

Meanwhile, Minogue’s last outing was with 2024’s ‘Tension II’, which was awarded a five-star review.

“Not to put a damper on the triumph that was ‘Tension’, but ‘Tension II’ surpasses it by light years – and, in so doing, awkwardly puts into question the need to connect the two albums in the first place,” we said of the album. “This collection of (mostly) new songs stands strong on its own. The record is tighter yet bolder, sexier yet sadder, as icy, electropop siren Kylie once again leaves it all on the dancefloor.”

Elsewhere, we spoke to Minogue at the BRITs in 2024.

She told us about experimenting with new genres, saying: “Just putting it out there that indie pop folk is one of my happy places.”

She continued: “I just love collaboration and stepping into different [genres]. Being malleable and seeing what’s possible.

“I like all change. Who would’ve thought I’d do a murder ballad with Nick Cave [1996’s ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’]? Or sing with Kermit the Frog?” she added. “There are so many artists I love, and every collaboration takes you somewhere you didn’t know you’d go. So watch this space! You never know, something might come of tonight.”
