LG Electronics has received 17 awards at the inaugural IFA 2025 Innovation Awards, including the top distinction of Best of IFA.
The IFA 2025 Innovation Awards were established this year to honour products that excel in innovation, technology, design, and market impact. With more than 1,800 companies participating, awards were presented across 16 categories, such as Mobility, Home Appliances, Home Entertainment, Design, and Smart Home. The highest honours included Best of IFA, Best Tech Innovation, and Best Brand, recognising the most prominent entries.
Best of IFA award
LG’s SIGNATURE OLED T, described as the world’s first wireless transparent television, was awarded the Best of IFA title, highlighting the company’s ongoing activities in television technology. The OLED T also received the Best in Home Entertainment award, resulting in dual recognition at this year’s event.
Alongside the Best of IFA accolade, LG secured five Category Best awards spanning Mobility, Accessibility, Home Appliances, and Home Entertainment, as well as 11 Category Honouree recognitions in areas including Home Appliances, Design, Smart Home, and Home Entertainment.
Category wins
In the Mobility category, LG’s Spielraum received the Best in Mobility award. The company describes Spielraum as an AI-powered mobility space solution. Its compact cabin includes built-in appliances, the LG ThinQ ON platform, and entertainment features.

For Accessibility, the LG Comfort Kit was recognised as Best in Accessibility Focused Product. The kit aims to enhance usability for all users.

In the Home Appliances category, LG’s AI Sense Clean Dishwasher and Microplastic Filter were named Best in Home Appliances. The dishwasher employs an intelligent wash system to adjust cycles based on load size and soil levels, while the microplastic filter removes particles released during laundry operation.

Honouree designations
LG also collected Honouree awards across various fields. In Home Appliances, four products were recognised for their performance and design. The LG WashTower streamlines laundry through AI-enabled controls, and the new Washer and Dryer with Heat Pump aims to reduce energy consumption. For floor care, the LG Robot Vacuum with Built-in Station features an auto-opening door, while the LG Wet and Dry Stick Vacuum Cleaner includes AI Roller Control to support ergonomic use.

Four Honouree awards in Design were presented to the Washer & Tumble Dryer Pair, TrueSteam Dishwasher, the Next LG Massage Recliner, and the LG Styler Mini. These products were identified for integrating style and practical utility, with the Styler Mini offering compact functionality for smaller living areas.
In the Smart Home category, the LG Robot Vacuum with Objet Station received distinction for its features including automated docking, scheduling, and ThinQ compatibility.

Within the Home Entertainment field, the LG Wireless OLED TV (M5) and LG StanbyME 2 were also named Honouree award recipients.
