The country singer’s, ahem, Drought Drops promise to “keep the dry spells away and the good times coming”

If you’ve watched the steamy video for Kacey Musgraves’ “Mexico Honey,” it seems as though the country star’s “Dry Spell” may well be over. Now, the Texas-born singer wants to pass on the good will. Musgraves, in partnership with woman’s wellness brand Medicine Mama, just launched her own signature lube titled, appropriately, Drought Drops. Packaged in an eggplant-colored bottle, in tribute to her favorite, uh, vegetable, the product promises to “keep the dry spells away and the good times coming.”

Apparently there’s a need for the product, because it’s currently sold-out: According to a message on the product’s website, another shipment is due at the beginning of September. Made with organic aloe, Drought Drops also come with a Musgraves-themed limited-edition sticker sheet. (Where exactly those stickers are to be placed is up to the purchaser’s discretion.)

    Trending Stories

Musgraves has been leaning fully into her unabashedly horny era. From sitting on a washing machine at the ACM Awards in May, to going naked in her video for “Mexico Honey,” it seems to be, in Musgraves’ fashion, just as much about having fun as it is breaking down stigmas for what a female country artist is and isn’t allowed to do. Nashville praises the family, but how exactly that baby gets there…well, you’re not supposed to talk about that. Musgraves’ approach is to be anything but subtle in her imagery, so the lyrics can speak for themselves and open doors for other women to be just as candid.

Fans will get to see just how saucy the artist is in person when Musgraves kicks off her tour tonight, Aug. 21, in Chicago — the singer’s 38th birthday.
