How To Fix iOS 26 “No Service” Issue After Updating On iPhone

Just updated to iOS 26 and suddenly your iPhone says “No Service”? Want to fix it? Don’t worry, this happens sometimes after big updates.

Luckily, there are a few quick things you can try to get your signal back without losing your data.

    Here’s what you can do:

    1. Toggle Airplane Mode

Swipe down for Control Center and turn Airplane Mode on, wait a few seconds, then turn it off. This refreshes your phone’s connection to your carrier.

    2. Restart Your iPhone

Yep, the classic fix. Power your iPhone off and back on again. It’s simple, but it works more often than you’d think.

    3. Check Your SIM Card

If your iPhone still uses a physical SIM, pop it out and put it back in. Sometimes it just needs to be reseated to work properly.

    4. Reset Network Settings

Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Heads up: this will erase your saved Wi-Fi passwords, but not your photos or apps.

    5. Last Resort: Full Reset

If nothing’s helped so far, you can do a full reset. It’s the nuclear option and may erase data, so back up your iPhone first. Only do this if you’ve tried everything else.

    Still Stuck? Talk to Apple

If the problem won’t go away, it’s time to let Apple take a look. You can chat with support online or visit an Apple Store nearby.

Hopefully one of these steps gets your service back up and running. Good luck!
