Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie delivered a surprising end-of-movie reveal when the 2025 film adaptation of Gabby’s Dollhouse the series announced that Gabby, played by Laila Lockhart-Kraner, has a little sister. But that sister didn’t have a name or an actress attached — until now.
Gabby’s little sister is named Doozie, and she’ll be voiced by Celestina Harris (Lioness).

The news opens up the hit children’s franchise, as The Hollywood Reporter explored when the sister was first teased.
Doozie, the adorable, dog-loving little sister to the cat-loving Gabby, is “set to bring a fresh dynamic, relatable sibling fun, and plenty of paw-some moments to the beloved franchise,” says DreamWorks Animation and Netflix.
The arrival of the newest member of the Gabby cat family also coincides with Netflix dropping the trailer for the forthcoming new season of Gabby’s Dollhouse (below). Season 14 premiers Sept. 14.
Here’s the tease for season 14: “With a little magic and new surprises every day, Gabby’s Dollhouse continues to celebrate the power of imagination and the message that any problem can be solved if you just keep trying. Join Gabby and Doozie as they explore and celebrate imagination and creativity, and expand their world to welcome new friends — dogs and cats alike! Things are about to get pup-tastic! The dollhouse is filled with double the paws as Gabby’s little sister Doozie and her best puppy pal Puggie arrive for their first-ever cat and dog playdate. From a dog ear unboxing to a cat-tastic kitchen collaboration with Cakey and CreamPup, Gabby and Doozie know that sisters are better together.”
Harris appeared virtually with Lockhart-Kraner on Sunday’s Couple Things podcast in honor of National Sister Day to talk about the news, with Harris telling hosts Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East that Doozie is “a very fun puppy-lover. She’s so energetic and creative and I would say she’s like me because I love having everything upbeat. I love just having fun. I love dogs! But Gabby has really inspired her to be the person she is because Gabby shows her throughout the episodes that its okay to fail, because you can keep on pursuing and keep on trying.”
