Slow Horses continues to be the best spy thriller on television in season six.
Created by original showrunner Will Smith, the show follows a bunch of disgraced or failed MI5 agents at Slough House, who are assigned dull tasks under the supervision of Jackson Lamb.
Gary Oldman leads the show’s cast, alongside Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Hugo Weaving, Saskia Reeves and Rosalind Eleazar.
Slow Horses is based on the Slough House novels by Mick Herron. The sixth season adapts the sixth and seventh books in the series, titled Joe Country and Slough House.
The show’s sixth season premiered on Apple TV on September 16, with the remaining five episodes set to air weekly until October 21, 2026.
