EXCLUSIVE: Boris Kodjoe (Station 19, Soul Food) has joined the recurring cast of Fox‘s Memory of a Killer for its upcoming second season. Season 2 is set to premiere midseason 2027 on Fox.

Inspired by the book and 2003 award-winning Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, Memory of a Killer stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Flannery/Doyle, who leads a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret; he is slowly losing his memory.

Kodjoe will play Tré, the “Fourth Musketeer.” Tré is Angelo (Dempsey), Dutch’s (Michael Imperioli), and Angelo’s brother Michael (Richard Clarkin) closest childhood friend. A high-level executive at a large company, he’s the only one out of the four who “broke good,” and is now being honored for saving their childhood community center.

The Season 1 cast also includes Peter Gadiot, Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush, and Daniel David Stewart. Meta Golding and Natalie Zea were previously announced as joining the show’s second season. Series regular Golding will play Mel, Angelo’s childhood sweetheart. In a recurring role, Zea will play Olivia, a brilliant, ambitious, yet sensitive businesswoman who always insisted on forging her own way — and she has, in ways no one yet suspects.

Memory of a Killer is produced by Warner Bros Television and Fox Entertainment. Executive producers include Dempsey and showrunners Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler. Arthur Sarkissian and Martin Campbell also executive produce, along with Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks.

Kodjoe most recently starred as Captain Robert Sullivan in the ABC firefighter procedural Station 19. His other television credits include Soul Food, Last Man on Earth, Undercovers, The Real Husbands of Hollywood, Code Black and House of Cards. On the film side, his credits include the Resident Evil franchise, Baggage Claim, Love and Basketball, Brown Sugar, Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion, and Addicted.

As a director, Kodjoe most recently directed during the final season of Station 19, as well as the Lifetime movie Safe Space, starring his wife Nicole Ari Parker. He made his Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, opposite James Earl Jones. Kodjoe is repped by Gersh, ColorCreative, and Fox Rothschild.
