Not even the math of psychohistory could predict this much silence, as the cast of “Foundation” on Apple TV+ confess they know nothing about a renewal before the season 3 curtain falls.

Apple waited until the last possible moment to announce a renewal with season 3 wrapping up on September 12, 2025. Cast members Lou Llobell and Tomas Lemarquis said they hadn’t heard anything about the show’s fate. That left the future of one of Apple TV+’s most ambitious science fiction projects in doubt, at least, until midday Thursday.
Llobell, who plays Gaal Dornick, gave the most candid response. “I wish I had more news for you,” she told TechRadar. “When I know, hopefully you will, too.”
