Adobe Is Bringing Premiere To iPhone And iPad This Month

Adobe has announced that it is going to release the popular video editing app Premiere on the iPhone and iPad later this month. The app is already available for preorder from the App Store with a September 30 launch date.

The new Premiere app is free to download and use, although there is the option to buy more generative AI credits and cloud storage if you need it.

And notably, Adobe’s new app appears to be as close to a desktop-class app as these things tend to get.

Adobe announced the new app via a blog post, saying that those who already use the desktop app will be immediately familiar with the mobile version.

If you’re familiar with Premiere’s desktop experience, you’ll recognize the multi-track timeline with vibrant colors and dynamic audio waveforms — and still have the freedom to trim, layer, and fine-tune with frame-accurate precision, all built for mobile. You also get automatic captions with stylized subtitles; unlimited video, audio, and text layers; support for 4K HDR; and more.

Content created within Adobe Premiere can be easily exported to popular services like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, while projects can also be saved for further editing within Premiere Pro on a desktop machine.

If you’re looking to get in on the Adobe Premiere act, you can preorder the app for free in the App Store on your iPhone and iPad now.
