    The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro both received facelifts for 2025. Here’s how the specs of the two compare, and whether it is worth paying at least $300 more to go Pro.

    Each year, Apple brings out its annual iPhone update, with consumers given the basic choice of going for the standard model or a more expensive Pro version. With the exception of the iPhone Air, the choice for the iPhone 17 generation is no different.

    Of the models, the standard iPhone and the non-Max version of Pro are typically the same size but differ in multiple key areas. They serve as the main point of comparison between the two general iPhone tiers.
