EAST SECOND ROUND
No. 4 CLEVELAND (+175) vs. No. 1 DETROIT (-210)

GAME 2 — CLE @ DET (May 7)
Spread: Pistons -3.5
Moneyline: Pistons -155, Cavs +130
O/U: 215.5
What to know: After trailing by as many as 17 in the second quarter of Game 1, Cleveland clawed its way back to tie the game at 93 late in the fourth. But Detroit showed its grit, ending the night on a 18-8 run to take a 1-0 lead. Everything about Game 1 pointed to this series being a slugfest.
No. 7 PHILADELPHIA (+650) vs. No. 3 NEW YORK (-1000)
NYK leads 2-0
GAME 3 — NYK @ PHI (May 8)
Spread: 76ers -1.5
Moneyline: Knicks -110, 76ers -110
O/U: 213.5
What to know: Game 1 was all New York, all the time. The Knicks led by eight after the first quarter, 23 at half, 31 at the end of the third and ended the night with a 39-point victory. Then, in Game 2, the Sixers took the floor without Joel Embiid, and kept things close for a majority of the evening, leading by one going into the fourth quarter. But New York held Philly to 12 points in the fourth, and emerged with a 108-102 victory. The Knicks have now won five straight playoff games.
WEST SECOND ROUND
No. 4 LOS ANGELES (+1200) vs. No. 1 OKLAHOMA CITY (-3000)
OKC leads 1-0
GAME 2 — LAL @ OKC (May 7)
Spread: Thunder -15.5
Moneyline: Thunder -900, Lakers +600
O/U: 210.5
What to know: If Game 1 was any indication, it appears that without Luka Dončić, the Lakers just don’t have the firepower to compete with the Thunder. OKC outscored L.A. in every quarter and held the Lakers to 37 points in the second half. L.A. scored a playoff-low 90 points, shooting just 41% from the field and 33% from 3. On top of that, SGA only scored 18 for the Thunder and was just 2-for-3 from the free-throw line. And, Jalen Williams didn’t even play.
No. 6 MINNESOTA (+245) vs. No. 3 SAN ANTONIO (-300)
Tied 1-1
GAME 3 — SAS @ MIN (May 8)
Spread: Spurs -3.5
Moneyline: Spurs -175, Wolves +145
O/U: 215.5
What to know: The Wolves went into San Antonio and won a Game 1 nail-biter, after Anthony Edwards returned from a recent knee injury way earlier than expected. San Antonio star Victor Wembanyama, managed a triple-double, but it wasn’t a pretty one. He had 15 rebounds and an astounding 12 blocks, but he coupled it with just 11 points on 5-for-17 shooting, including 0-for-8 from 3. Game 2 was more to the Spurs’ liking, however, with Wemby finishing at 19 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks in a San Antonio rout (133-95). Still, Minnesota got the split and heads back to its home arena, where it has yet to lose this postseason.
