EAGAN, Minn., Sept. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — ImageTrend, LLC announced that its ePCR platform, ImageTrend Elite, has achieved NEMSIS v3.5.1 compliance for both Collect Data and Receive & Process. ImageTrend is among the first vendors nationwide to achieve Receive & Process compliance under the latest standard—a milestone that underscores the company’s leadership in advancing EMS data interoperability.

The National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) is the national framework for collecting, storing, and sharing EMS data across the United States. By standardizing how EMS data is reported, NEMSIS enables states, agencies, and providers to improve patient care, strengthen operational efficiency, and inform policy decisions.

“This achievement reinforces ImageTrend’s commitment to helping EMS agencies and states stay ahead of national data standards while ensuring the highest quality data flows seamlessly from the field to state and federal systems,” said Patrick Sheahan, CEO and President at ImageTrend. “Being among the first to reach compliance demonstrates not only our technical expertise, but also our dedication to supporting the EMS community in delivering exceptional care.”

    Why It Matters

    • Full compliance today: ImageTrend Elite is now compliant with NEMSIS v3.5.1 for both Collect Data and Receive & Process.
    • Industry leadership: By securing both Collect Data and Receive & Process compliance under NEMSIS v3.5.1, ImageTrend ensures its clients are prepared for evolving national standards without disruption.
    • Trusted partner: ImageTrend supports more than 13,000 EMS agencies and 43 states, with over 356 million total NEMSIS records submitted.

NEMSIS version 3.5 introduced updates to improve data quality and consistency nationwide, with v3.5.1 delivering refinements that require new compliance testing. ImageTrend’s early adoption ensures its clients are prepared for evolving requirements without disruption to reporting.
