TOKYO :French eyewear maker EssilorLuxottica raised its shareholding in Japan’s Nikon to 10.75 per cent from 9.62 per cent to become its largest shareholder, it said in a release on Monday.
It ha also received permission to raise its stake to 20 per cent from the relevant authorities under Japan’s Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, the release said.
