IF YOU live in London with a mildly fanatical supporter of Arsenal football club, as I do, you would have heard a lot lately about Max Dowman, the 15-year-old who just became the second-youngest Premier League player in history. He would have been the youngest, except his Arsenal teammate Ethan Nwaneri was 54 days younger when he played his first league game in 2022.Controversially, both have faced league safeguarding rules banning them from changing with the rest of the team in the main dressing room on match days, which a lot of Arsenal fans think is nuts. Age limits have also upset…
A new quantum computing installation at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee leverages diamond-based hardware to merge quantum information technologies with classical computing systems to spark large gains in computational power. In a collaboration with Australian company Quantum Brilliance, ORNL announced on Tuesday it will host one of the company’s hybrid full-stack platforms on premises to begin implementing quantum-powered computational elements with current high-performance computing. THE Nasdaq 100 rose on Thursday (Sep 4), closing 218.17 points, or 0.93 per cent higher, at 23,633.01, as investors digested weaker-than-expected labour market data ahead of Friday’s closely watched nonfarm payrolls (NFP) report. Private-sector job growth slowed to 54,000 in August, missing forecasts of 65,000, while weekly jobless claims hit their highest level since June. The ISM services index came in stronger overall, but hiring within the sector contracted for a third consecutive month. The data added to signs of labour market weakness, reinforcing expectations that the US Federal Reserve will cut rates at its September meeting. But today, her priorities are different. “At 58, my biggest concern right now is aging gracefully, intentionally embracing the process,” the reality star and actress says. “Every ten years I have to step it up a bit because the 40s ain’t the 50s, and the 50s ain’t the 60s. My health has become a priority.” We Grew Our Own Food Before she began her modeling career, Cynthia recalled a childhood in Alabama where they rarely ate out, if at all. My mom, my grandmother,…
