If we zoom way in on a screenshot, can you guess what video game this is?

What if we zoom it out a bit?

Put your skills to the test and play Game Scope now, directly in your browser window. The daily game is free for everyone. Logged-in members can save their streak and compete for high scores. Even better, IGN Plus subscribers get access to the full archives, just in case you ever miss a day.

This game might look familiar to fans of IGN Game Scoop, since we’ve been playing a version of Game Scope on the show for several years now. You asked – and we answered! Now you can get your Game Scope fix at home with a new game every day. Compete with the cast of Game Scoop, others at IGN, and the rest of the community.

Plenty of websites and apps have daily games, so we wanted to ensure every IGN game (more are on the way) are special, and are uniquely focused on the video games and pop culture you love.

Even though Game Scope is a fairly simple concept, there was still a lot to consider during development. How should scoring work? Should players on desktop PCs see the same thing as players on their phones? Should you see the entire screenshot if you zoom all the way out or still only part of it? Questions like these are why we’d love to get your thoughts.

Game Scope will be in beta for a little while, so we’d love to collect your feedback on the game. This is a super quick, four-question feedback form, including one spot to share any additional comments, suggestions, or constructive criticism you may have. We truly want to see it! So if you have any thoughts please take a moment to share.

If you haven’t yet, be sure to play today’s Game Scope, start your streak, join the global leaderboards, and see if you can get the elusive five crowns…. 👀
