The CW is bringing back unscripted series Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit and Police 24/7 for new seasons. The network has renewed Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit for a third season with new one-hour episodes, and Police 24/7 will return for a fourth season.
The renewals come amid strong ratings for the series, among The CW’s top five entertainment programs for the 2025-26 season, collectively reaching more than 31.4 million viewers since their debuts, per Nielsen stats. Additionally, all three series have secured syndication clearances in more than 85% of the U.S., according to The CW.
Hosted by Emmy winner Craig Ferguson, Scrabble features contestants playing a series of word-based games to win points and add words to a giant board in the center of the set. The series is produced by Hasbro Entertainment, The CW, Mattel Television Studios and Lionsgate Alternative Television.
Levar Burton-hosted Trivial Pursuit calls on contestants to put their knowledge to the test across a wide range of categories. The game show is produced by Hasbro Entertainment, The CW, Lionsgate Alternative Television and Talpa Studios.
Executive produced by unscripted producer SallyAnn Salsano through her Mullholland Media, Police 24/7 follows officers on patrol as they respond to emergencies, investigate crimes and serve their communities across the country.
The second seasons of Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble continue on The CW this fall with new episodes debuting on Thursday, October 1. Premiere dates for the new seasons will be announced at a later date.
