There are only so many Lord of the Rings gifts you can buy yourself. Once you own a copy of the books and 4K Blu-ray editions of the movies, all that’s really left is to start sprinkling a bit of LotR into your daily life. And what better way to to just that than adding some great Lord of the Rings T-shirts into your weekly rotation.
Amazon is having a sale this weekend on officially licensed T-shirts and tanktops that I recommend checking out. I’ve already purchased one shirt from this sale, so enter at your own risk.
The Lord of the Rings T-shirt Sale at Amazon
My overall top pick from this sale is obviously the Taters shirt. I don’t currently own any Lord of the Rings shirts, but I made that purchase pretty much immediately after finding out it was a thing. I don’t think about Peter Jackson’s original trilogy that often, but I do think about that potato scene literally every time I’m buying potatoes. Plus I get to represent my love for potatoes and The Lord of the Rings with a single shirt, which really sold it for me.
Outside of that shirt, I’ve picked out a few more shirts I think are worth your time. If you’re looking for something that is very obviously LoTR related, both the Middle Earth Map and LotR logo shirt are great options. There’s also Treebeard and Galadriel shirts available if you’re looking for a more specific character.
If you’re looking for something more subtle, I’d suggest grabbing either The Prancing Pony or The Green Dragon shirts. Both are fictional pubs within J.R.R. Tolkien’s universe and look like the kind of shirt you’d pick up at your local pub. Only true Lord of the Rings fans will make the connection and say something, which is always a fun conversation starter when you’re wearing it out.
The Lord of the Rings Franchise Is Still Expanding
Just in case you’re not caught up with the latest news, it’s worth mentioning that The Lord of the Rings is still ongoing. Season 3 of Rings of Power is coming to Amazon later this year and The Hunt for Gollum movie is set to release in 2027. There’s even a sequel to the original trilogy currently in the works. There’s never been a better time to be a LotR fan.
