Apple had a busy day yesterday, not because they announced anything, but because several of their upcoming products leaked online.
Between YouTube unboxing videos from Russia and official FCC documents in the U.S., we now have a clearer picture of what’s coming soon.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what was revealed:
iPad Pro with M5 Chip
The biggest leak came from YouTube, where unboxing videos of a new iPad Pro showed up. This model runs on Apple’s new M5 chip, which looks to be around 12% faster for CPU performance and up to 36% faster for graphics compared to the M4.
Other details:
- 12GB RAM with the 256GB model (up from 8GB before).
- No big design changes, just no “iPad Pro” text on the back anymore.
- Rumors about dual front cameras didn’t show up in these units, so we’ll have to wait and see.
In short: it looks like a classic “spec bump” rather than a big redesign.
MacBook Pro Updates

FCC filings also revealed a new MacBook Pro model number (A3434) as spotted by MacRumors. This matches rumors about updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips.
What we know:
- Likely no Wi-Fi 7 (still Wi-Fi 6E).
- Other than the new chips, don’t expect huge changes.
If you’re waiting for something truly different, bigger upgrades like OLED displays, touchscreens, and slimmer designs are rumored for 2026/2027.
Apple Vision Pro

The Vision Pro headset also popped up in FCC documents with model number A3416. The update seems small:
So don’t think of this as a “Vision Pro 2”, it’s more of a refreshed version.
Will There Be an October Event?
The leaks make it pretty likely Apple will hold an October event, especially since past M-series chips were launched that way. Still, Apple could always go with simple press releases.
Either way, the M5-powered iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and Vision Pro refreshes are all clearly in the pipeline.
