New iOS 26 ringtones ranked! Which one will you pick for your iPhone?

When you first install iOS 26, Liquid Glass is the first thing that will grab your attention. However, the update also brings a lot of other exciting things like Live Translation, an AI-powered filter for unwanted messages and calls, and polls in iMessage.

But most importantly, iOS 26 also adds several new ringtones for iPhone users. And if you’re like me and love new ringtones, you’ll want to try them all out and pick the one that best reflects your mood and persinality.

In all, there are seven new ringtones in iOS 26 beta 6, making a total of seven new ringtones and nearly every one is a variation of the classic “Reflection” ringtone. Even so, each one has a distinctive tone, ranging from softer melodies to more pop-like music.

Here are all seven, ranked in order from worst to best:

    iOS 26 ringtones

iOS 26 features seven new ringtones.

    Foundry

    7. Little Bird

Little Bird is an intriguing ringtone with a repeating whistle that lasts throughout the entire melody. It’s something you’d expect from a modern fairytale movie. My least favorite iPhone ringtone, to be honest.

    6. Pond

Pond is a short, calm iPhone ringtone. It’s a subtle choice for people who want a discreet and refined alert, but beware, because you might not even notice that someone is calling you.

    5. Surge

Surge hits with an energetic, fast-paced melody. It’s bold and attention-grabbing, almost like a ringtone from the 2000s. You might want to dance with this one. It’s too much for me, but I predict it’s going to be a popular option.

    4. Dreamer

As the name suggests, Dreamer sounds like the soundtrack to a cinematic dream. It’s a fun tune that would probably rank higher if it were shorter. However, it’s a much longer ringtone that gets more intense as the melody progresses. If you’re someone who takes a long time to answer the phone, you’ll definitely like this one.

    3. Buoyant

This iPhone ringtone also has a familiar ring, but it’s much more melodic than the others. It sounds fresh, energetic, and instantly catches your attention, but it’s not exactly overwhelming.

    2. Pop

Here you can still easily identify notes from the iPhone’s default ringtone, but with a little more fun. It’s catchy without being repetitive, making it a fun option if you want something that feels casual and lively, but still clean enough for work settings.

    1. Reflected

Reflected is my favorite of the bunch. It’s a little more discreet and slightly understated compared to the other options. Even so, it sounds a lot like what you’d expect from an iPhone ringtone.

Don’t like any of the options here? iOS 26 also lets users easily set any audio file as a custom iPhone ringtone without using any additional software.
