CNN launched its subscription-based service — dubbed “CNN All Access” — last fall, promising “24/7 live global news and premium original content,” along with “marquee programming” from the news network’s roster of live shows, documentaries, specials, and archival footage. In addition to the streaming library, subscribers to CNN All Access also get full access to CNN.com and the CNN app, without having to deal with a paywall.

CNN All Access launched with a subscription price of $6.99 per month, but the streamer is hoping to land some new signups with an introductory offer that gets you into the service for just $1.99 per month for the first two months of service — a 72% discount.

The trick is claiming this offer is to sign up through Prime Video, Amazon’s streaming site. While Prime Video offers thousands of TV shows and movies, their Prime Channels page also offers streaming subscriptions that you can add-on a la carte style. And right now on Amazon, CNN All Access is on sale for just $1.99 per month for your first two months of service — or nearly 72% off the regular price — as a Prime Video add-on channel.

After the two months is over, the subscription goes back to its usual $6.99 per month price. But you can lock in the discounted pricing for a limited time, though you’ll want to act fast and sign up now, as the deal expires on Monday, Sept. 7.

What Is CNN All Access?

So what exactly is CNN All Access? Well, it’s a paid subscription service that includes everything that CNN has to offer, including live news streams from CNN U.S. and CNN International, paywall access to all digital articles on CNN.com, and on-demand access to original programming (documentaries, films, web exclusives, and podcasts), like Anderson Cooper 360, CNN NewsNight With Abby Phillip, The Lead With Jake Tapper, Decades in Sports, The Tupac Murder Trial, Luigi: The Murder and the Myth, and many others.

The subscription service is compatible on Apple iPhone and Apple iPad, Android smartphones and tablets, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV and Android TV, Roku, LG TV, Samsung TV, Vizio TV, and other devices. It’s also available on select laptop and mobile web browsers, like Google Chrome and Apple Safari.

Although the deal is open to all Amazon shoppers, if you’re a Prime Member (which goes for $14.99 per month, or $139 per year), you can get even more out of your shopping and streaming experience on the site, with exclusive perks and savings.
